The Grade Scale
What A, B, C, and D mean
Grades are simple and instant. Patients shouldn't need a medical degree to understand whether a company treats minorities well.

85 – 100 points
Excellent. This company consistently demonstrates strong equity practices and receives high marks from minority patients across all categories.
B
70 – 84 points
Good. Strong in most areas with room to improve. Minority patients generally report positive experiences with some gaps noted.
C
55 – 69 points
Fair. Mixed experiences reported. Some patients feel respected while others have raised significant concerns. Proceed with awareness.
D
0 – 54 points
Poor. Significant issues reported by minority patients. Patterns of dismissal, bias, or discrimination have been identified. Know before you go.
